2016 / 2017 Snow Season Recap The Denver Metro area has recorded the least accumulation of snow for any season over the last 10 years. The National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is reporting a total of 21.8” of snow for the period of September 1st through May 31st 2017. The historic average is 57.1” accumulation during the same period, resulting in a shortfall from average of 35.3” for the season. The 2016-2017 season will go into the books as the 3rd lowest snow season since record keeping began in 1881.

JLS team members participated in BOMA’s Annual Workday at Denver Children’s Home.

Every year the Building Owners & Managers Association BOMA brings volunteers together to work at Denver Children’s Home (http://www.denverchildrenshome.org/) and Mount Saint Vincent’s Home. On Friday June 10th JLS crew members top dressed all of the shrub beds with new recycled wood mulch, planted annuals, shaped shrubbery & removed several dead trees. While other BOMA volunteers provided spring cleaning and painting of interior areas of the building. Denver Children’s Home opened in 1876 as the Denver Orphan
